Spaven Mor, Near Penzance Stations, 3 bedroom home

We travelled from Kent and stayed at Spaven Mor for a 3 night mini break, the main purpose being to surprise my sister who lives locally in Penzance for her 40th Birthday. We had no issues with check in and found the property to be immaculately clean throughout, very well presented and had a lovely homely feel to it. The house was equipped with everything we needed for our stay and as a bonus had a great Wi-Fi connection. The location was perfect for our needs...Not only a short walk to visit my family, it is also a short walk to multiple shops, pubs, restaurants, the harbor and beaches. Once we arrived, we didn't need to use the car once during our stay as everything we needed was on our doorstep. There is no on street parking outside of the property, however this did not cause us any problems at all and we were aware of this prior to booking. You are able to pull up outside of the property to load and unload your car and we easily found free parking on one of the neighboring roads, under a minutes walk away.

The place is just in the town center. Easy access to public car park.

The house was really clean, comfortable and relaxing. Mattress in the double rooms were perfect, including bedding stuff were comfortable for summer. Maybe need extra duvets/blankets for cooler weather. Location was great, close to shops, restaurants, cafes etc. Glad there was a vacuum cleaner, and iron and board. Felt like a home away from home. With wifi and tv to keep children busy in the evenings.

Had to buy our own cleaning sponge for kitchen, but understandable as its probably not there due to covid rules. We brought our laundery detergent, as there were not any, we ran out of toilet tissues, (family of 5) and kitchen towels so we had to buy extra. Which was fine. But in other places we have stayed, there were extra provided in cupboards etc. Think the house needs extra floor towels for bathroom, as it keep getting wet from the bath and basin water. Especially with little kids, who kept splashing everywhere. We were very conscious of trying not to cause any unwanted damages. So towelsfor floor would have helped that situation. Despite the negative which can be fixed, the house was perfect for our stay.
