The bedrooms were very clean and comfortable. Good hot water, air conditioning, and wifi. A floor fan would have been great in order to turn off the A/C. They came mid week to change linens and clean during our 7 night stay. The beach is incredibly clear and the sand was beautiful. We had great swims there and enjoyed the privacy. Keep in mind that this is a local area with a number of fishing boats on the water, and families going about their daily routines. In our view, this is part of its charm. With a motorbike it is easy to get to the close by markets, supermarkets, shops, the night market, and to the centre of town in about 10 minutes. There are markets and supermarkets on the main road, not far from the house. Grabs were easy to get if you do not want to use a motorbike. There was enough in the kitchen to prepare food, and a mid size fridge to keep fresh food. We used the washing machine without any issues. Plenty of hangers and places to keep your things. The manager responded to issues very quickly and got us motorbikes with good working brakes and full tanks of gas.

Be mindful that the bedrooms have outdoor stair access only. If it's raining, or you have small children, this could be an issue. There is a daily market at 5am to about 7am, and you will hear chopping and bustling at that time. This did affect our sleep, but not our daughter's. The house is well equipped, but it has aged, likely due to little occupancy during the COVID period, so there is rust and mold that should be addressed, as well as some landscape upkeep. As mentioned above it is in a local neighbourhood so walking to the city centre would probably not work. We are comfortable on motorbikes so it was not an issue for us.
