The Lockett Wonderful Large Bungalow Plympton, Plymouth Free Parking By STAE-Homes

The location was fine for us, near where we needed to be. The bungalow was fine for our needs but the outside area looked like it needed a bit of attention. Parking was OK but difficult to reverse out.

We thought it could do with a toilet in the downstairs bathroom considering the number of people that the property could sleep. The upstairs heater needs fixing - the base is not fixed to the heater and it was like that when we arrived.

The property was spacious and had all we needed. It was very convenient to travelling around the west country. Close to Plymouth. The property is in a lovely quiet street. It does back onto school but we visited during holidays. Lovely large garden

When we arrived the dishwasher needed emptying and there were crumbs on sofa. Also cigarette bits on small terrace.

Good location, spacious & clean property with everything you would need and to a good standard. The garden not overlooked with plenty of space for the kids to play. Layout was nice airy and light. Shower was amazing

There was not enough adequate storage, only one of the rooms had a wardrobe in it, the garden was not secure so small children or pets could just get out onto the street and the double bedroom was just two single beds put together which meant falling into the hole in the night was frequent occurrence.

Location to the ferry terminal

Everything on the one floor, clean and spacious in a quiet location. Easy access to keys everything explained well

We were a party of 6 aged 17-90 plus our dog and the house was perfect for our stay. It was warm on arrival and exceptionally well equipped with helpful basics like dishwasher & washing machine tablets plus washing up liquid, shampoo & shower gel in both bathrooms. The property listing indicated that pets were not allowed but this was clarified prior to booking - it was crucial to us that we were able to bring our dog so I was relieved about this. There were plenty of towels and blankets with a high level of comfort throughout. I very much appreciated the opportunity to increase our occupancy by one from the booking details, plus for the additional hour granted to check out. The oldies loved that we had control of the central heating thermostat which helped keep us cosy whilst the younger generation were delighted with access to wifi! Any communications with the property manager had swift replies in a very friendly, polite, helpful and professional manner. Thank you!

We visited in December and would have struggled with the key safe / general approach to the house had we not have had our own torches. Some outside lighting would have been really helpful. Although the house was generally clean, there were cobwebs on the ceiling light fittings, the shower cubicle door area needed attention and the freezer was heavily iced up. There was a dirty black sock under the bath mat in the upstairs bathroom. None of these things would be difficult to rectify. The booking process was a little confusing regarding pets; reviews clearly stated that dogs were allowed but the listed stated not.
