Hayloft Cottage - Dog Friendly With Private Garden

The location was lovely, I liked the amount of space inside the property and the private garden just for our use, I was happy that no food was provided as I did some shopping on the first day which saw us through our holiday, the cottage was comfortable and well laid out

Unfortunately the host cut the grass shortly after our arrival and there was no grass box on the mower so we spent the weekend attempting to control the amount of grass walked in to the property by ourselves and our dogs also one of our dogs is very nervous so the occasional screaming child on site put him right off for a while

Lovely self-catering cottage with private garden. Bedrooms are adequate sizes with comfy beds. Nice and spacious living room.

3rd time staying here ,perfect location for us as love walking and great for our two small dogs.well equipped and spotless.takes us about 40 mins through the beautiful byes park to get into Sidmouth, stopping off at the blue ball inn on way back to cottage which is dog friendly and about 15min walk back to cottages

Hairdryer on last legs. Dishwasher full of clean dishes when we arrived. Tea towel provided not clean. Needs brighter light bulb in living area. Garden overgrown made living area dark.

Outdated and dark bathroom. Dark kitchen with poor, mismatched cutlery, crockery and utensils. Cramped second bedroom (and no mirror). Broken outside down pipe leaking fluids- use your imagination! Poorly “maintained” garden. Overflowing bins in parking area with rats! No welcoming teas, coffees or even just some milk. No information at all about the property on site. Website photos not totally reflecting the Hayloft. Huge potential for this property has been lost.

Hayloft was probably in the most beautiful location I have ever stayed in. I love the Southwest of England and the setting of Hayloft showed the beauty of this region perfectly. I wish that I had brought an OS map with me because the walks were fantastic and there were footpath signs left, right and centre when we walked up the hill. We had a little private garden, which was charming. There was a walk mown into a nearby meadow too. The cottage was comfortable and very clean. My bedsheets were very soft and I slept like a top.
