Linhay -Farm Cottage

The location was perfect. So quiet and peaceful. Just sat outside with our drinks and listened to the birds and the odd braying donkey. Lovely spacious cottage (chocolate box) with absolutely everything you needed for your stay.

Great cottage, location good,clean and comfortable.

Shower upstairs pretty much unusable due to low water pressure. Downstairs shower better but we all had to use it which took more time to get ready. A small thing - some tea, coffee and milk would be a nice addition.

The farm is in a beautiful quiet location with lots of places to walk. There was a great walk from the farm down to the beach at Sidmouth which was a bonus.

The water pressure at the property was an issue - only one working shower which only gave a dribble of hot water due to poor pressure - not good for a family of 5. Also a lack of equipment in the kitchen - no large pans to cook and no food items at all, not even salt and pepper - not what you expect for self catering accommodation.

Loved the location and the cottage was wonderfully clean and well thought out. Lots to do too which is great. Amazing to be out of the hustle and bustle and be in the countryside

Nothing, it was all great!

The pictures don’t do it justice. It is a lot lot bigger than you think. The kitchen is large and the sitting room is large L shape which easily accommodated 4 adults and 2 children. The play area outside is great, and there are a lot of walks with a beautiful stream.

A good size for a family of six. Nice large kitchen with table & chairs. Beds were very comfortable. Large living space.

Both showers need updating. The downstairs leaked at the fitting which made washing of the soap difficult as already has low pressure. The one over the bath is a tap & shower type, due to the low pressure the knob won’t stay up to feed them shower fitting, needs changing.
