Il Giardino di Lucia

This gem of a place in beautiful Ortigia was quiet and provided an easy walk to all the sites. Pietro and Loredana were exceptional hosts who went out of their way to welcome us and ensure our stay was comfortable. The apartment was pristine and well-equipped with everything one needs, including a washing machine and excellent air-conditioning. The garden was a delightful retreat and lovingly cared for. Thank you Loredana and Pietro for a beautiful stay.

Very good location.

Everything was perfect.

The location on this small island is very good. The rooms were situated on a quiet patio, and they were extremely clean. The host family was polite and helpful. The kitchen was well equipped, though we did not use it this time. Everything was close, and yet the nights were quiet. We would stay here again if we came to Syracuse again. It definitely earns a recommendation.

Absolutely nothing.

The hosts were warm and welcoming and went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable (offering an extra blanket when the weather turned cooler and welcoming me with a bowl of fruit, snacks and water when I checked in). The apartment was spotless and well equipped and has a lovely outdoor space with a beautiful garden. The location made it easy to visit all parts of Ortigia (a piedi) yet was very quiet and I always felt safe (very important for a single traveler).

The 400 year building and its garden and patio, very beautiful. The owner, Pietro and his wife are lovely and friendly hosts. It’s also a short walk to the best swimming place along the Lungomare with breathtaking views of Siracusa skyline.
