Static Caravan for hire, budget friendly

Well organized camping site, got a fast gas refill. Quiet place far off the city.

Interior is a bit worn down. Screeching shower cabinet. Both gas bottles where empty so no one checked in between. City is really an hour away by bus, not the place's fault but it's a lot of time travelling.

When we booked it stated that the location was 10 minutes away from the centre of edinburgh but it was actually an hour by the bus or a 40 minute drive. The place looked like it was in poor condition ; the stairs were held up by a rock, the door was very flimsy and one of the doors to the shelves in one of the rooms came off when you opened it. We had to pay a damage deposit before our stay of £100 and were told that if nothing was damaged we’d receive our money back within a week after our stay. It’s now been a month and i haven’t received the money back and haven’t heard anything from the owner about any damage. I’ve tried contacting the owner multiple times but never hear back. I absolutely do not recommend staying here, it’s not very practical, the place seems like it could fall apart and the owner doesn’t give the £100 damage deposit back

The location was quiet, and there was plenty of parking space. It had a big window and plenty of light coming in. Water pressure and temperature were very good. Regular bus service into Edinburgh.

A bit old and "tired" caravan. The oven door wasn't closing properly, and the ceiling light in the main bedroom didn't work. Some buttons on the TV remote controls didn't work either, and the TV reception wasn't good. The floor wasn't properly hoovered, and the sofas didn't look very clean.

The restaurant on site was fantastic but nearer the end of the stay, u couldn’t book a table in the afternoon for tea/dinner

The caravan was disgusting 🤢… it sure as hell wasn’t cleaned properly as with working in housekeeping myself in 4-5 star luxury lodges & to walk in to a caravan…. Wow cobwebs everywhere also had gut the kitchen from cutlery to the glasses,shower was dangerous with having to work 2 taps, sofa bed was broken, the only thing that was clean was the shower room & toilet room.
