"Nice location with good stuff to help you, but I pay too much for what I got."

6.0

Location.

Shower head was horrible, I could wash my self properly. The front door doesn’t fully close, so the cold air keeps coming in. We were there in winter, heater system wasn’t on when we arrived, security come to help us. No internet, this days everyone has internet. The TVs were useless, no signal that all. Door at one of the bathroom was so bad, at times we couldn’t go in. The shower was there, hooks for towels were filling off from bathroom doors.

"Disappointing"

4.0

The caravan was clean and spacious

When we arrived it was cold inside and the heating was turned off. After few attempts we could not turn it on as there was no water supply. Communication with the owner was poor and after over an hour we found the main water valve . Then it got warm very quickly. Due to the temperature all the bedding was damp and unpleasant. We wasted almost 2 hours of the stay .

"The worst experience with the most unprofessional behaviour, in my life!"

1.0

The place that was the caravan (by the sea) was nice and quiet.

We arrived at caravan, that was booked for 2 days (4 persons), around 20:00 after 11hours of driving. When we open the door, was very cold but the most important was the bad smell inside. Especially at the sofa in the living room the smell was awful (like someone very sweat and dirty, lay on the sofa). I don't know when it was the last time that the pillow cases from sofa was washed but the smell was strong and the marks was visible. I open the bed from the sofa to check if the smell was from the mattress or only from the pillows but it was both. It was some marks on the carpet and when I try to light up the fireplace, I didn't find any user manual who to do it (under the TV, it was some papers but nothing to do with manuals about the Boiler or the fire place). I open the cupboard (next to the entrance), to hang my jacket and I found a big plastic bag with a terrible smell. When I open the bag, I found a pair of working boots and some trousers. With a first look, everything was arranged (at all beds was clean towels for the body but not for the face) but: A). At the room with the 2 single beds, over the selves was very dirty and was a box with something unidentified inside (probably to put a perfume inside to smell the room nice). Also, the bed sheets was still wet. B). At the shower, it was the same box with another 2 gel perfumes (the one was old and dry and the other looks new). If someone is asthmatic or has some allergies, these perfumes are very dangerous. To smell a place nice, keep it clean, don't put extra perfumes to "cover" the true status. There are a lot of other thinks but unfortunately (remote controls with no batteries or not working or wrong remotes for the TV's we had, etc), I can't put all the details here (there is limit of the adding comments here). We left the next day, very early in the morning and when I ask my money back for the 1 day we didn't stay, the owner "offered" to give me only the 40%.

"Overall quite disappointed with the caravan"

4.0

There was parking available, and ample storage in the rooms. The en suite was also quite smart and both radiators in each bathroom worked well and did a good job of drying towels.

The front door was the main issue, it didn’t close properly and was a total nightmare to have to put up with, even when fully closed and locked it still felt incredibly insecure, and there was a large gap at the top of the door, to which a chilling draft came through. When security was asked about this, they stated they couldn’t do anything and was up to the van owner to sort out. There was no pan lids or a sieve either, nor was there an extractor for the cooker top, so anything that was cooked could be smelt for a while after. The outside light didn’t work, and the stairs to the van were slippery and wobbly. The general patch of land the van was on was untidy, with outside furniture and litter scattered everywhere. The two window blinds in the front room/kitchen didn’t have a cord on them to be pulled, so required very careful rolling down every night, which was disappointing considering there was cords in the van that should have been on the blinds. The shower was poor, the shower head wouldn’t stay in one position, and the sliding door was incredibly noisy and slightly broken too. The pillows on all 3 beds were very uncomfortable, and when we stripped the beds before we left, we also noticed most of it was stained too, which isn’t too pleasing. The TV in the living room was outdated and the remote only half worked, which was again, disappointing.
