Cosy Cottage in the Countryside

Unfortunately the bath jet wasn't working , which we were told about on arrival, will enjoy using it next time.

What a beautiful idylic cottage in a lovely rural location. Excellent value for money, a home away from home. The host was friendly and helpful, the house is amazing. Love the gravel drive, the big kitchen, beds were comfy and the house was clean and tidy. Underfloor heating had me confused at first as i noticed thermostats in each room but couldnt see any radiators, turned them all up and the house was more than toasty in the morning. Large american fridge is great, i could live here!

Unfortunately the bath was out of action during my visit and there was no key to the wardrobe in the master bedroom so had to hang my suits on the outside but this didnt affect my stay, the shower was amazing (hot and powerful) so didnt miss the bath and the clothes were fine hanging on the outside of the wardrobe as i visited on my own. The outside of the property could do with a little TLC but quite honestly i was amazed that i could get such a gorgeous cottage for the price i paid, i really enjoyed my stay.

The location is idyllic, very rural but it is possible to walk to the nearest pubs. However I wouldn’t recommend this at night as the roads don’t have footpaths. The underfloor heating was amazing, very cosy. The space was perfect for our Christmas break.

There were some issues that hadn’t been attended to before we arrived.
