Fabulous location, lovely comfortable cottage and Richard and Kaye were fabulous hosts. Cannot fault it. The photo I have added is sunset over the duck pond.

We upgraded to the Eco barn for a bit more space. It was amazing. The lounge is upstairs so you can enjoy the views. The kitchen was so well equipped it’s easy to self cater . Richard and Kaye were the ideal hosts too.

Could not fault a thing !

The cottage was very clean and comfortable, everyting we needed was provided, the location was exceptionally quiet, the hosts superb and the grounds lovely to walk round. totally recommended..! We would definately make a return visit, which is very rare for us.

"Worth looking at the other cottages on site for suitability"

No problem finding Clematis Cottages on Aunby Lodge Farm and being on a converted old farm there was plenty of space to walk around. A very peaceful location. We bought several jars of homemade jams and jellies from the owners and had some lovely chats with them. Had disability issues with the Retreat, but Kay was very kind to let us stay in Clematis Cottage which made life a lot easier.

The bed was the only problem we had as we are used to a much firmer mattress, but otherwise everything else was perfect.

Kaye is really friendly and helpful. The property is lovely. It's clean, well maintained and the grounds are fabulous. There's table tennis and a bit of pitch and putt golf that you can have fun with. There's eggs and milk supplied when you get there foc. Really was a great place.
