Beautiful &quiet location, Hosts v friendly and helpful. Internal arrangements excellent for a couple. Home produced jams, chutneys, garden veg, honey and eggs all wonderful. Would definitely book again! GB

What a beautiful and welcoming place for a weekend away. A blossoming garden, ducks floating about the pond and a comfy bed! Clematis Cottages are set out in the hills, close to the picturesque town of Stamford and ideally situated for attending a wedding at Holywell Hall. The hosts are lovely people, they could not do more for you and are full of stories of their time in the area, a welcome chat whilst on your travels alone. Plus the honey is incredible!

The cottage was really well equipped and comfortable. All we could hear were birds chirping and singing it was so peaceful. The garden was beautiful with a lake and ducks little garden rooms to sit in chickens and tucked away at the back bee hives. Thank you for the eggs and delicious honey. An ideal place to stay if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle although only a few miles from the beautiful historic town of Stamford full of shops and restaraunts perfect situation. Thank you for a lovely stay hope to return soon .

The most beautiful location convenient for Stamford Burghley etc The hosts were wonderful and super helpful. Our stay was relaxing and peaceful and exactly what we were looking for.

Fabulous stay, the place was clean, comfortable and cosy with a nice area outside to sit and play. Hosts were fantastic, they provided us with a sample of their own eggs and honey and thought about everything, there are books available to read, a file full of maps of local walks, bicycle routes, local entertainment, restaurant menus. Cottage has fully equipped kitchen, lots of room for storage, very comfortable bed, everything top quality. Location is great, far from busy roads and quiet but a stone throw from Stamford. Very peaceful place, perfect for relaxing. Highly recommend and hope we will come back soon.
