"Exceptional"

We really liked the location. Every time you looked through the window you were surrounded by hills. Very quiet place. Love it from first sight. Inside the cottage was everything we wished for. It was clean, comfortable and very tastefully decorated. We felt at home. The owners guidance and support was also excellent. Highly recommend this place.

The location was superb with amazing views and excellent access to many other places. The cottage was really clean, cosy and very well equipped and benefitted from the host's attention to detail.

Nice view

TV and Mobile Phone reception were very poor. We were not warned about the severe steps before the entrance. I thought this was a legal requirement. Was the property inspected by you? I am sending an email to the owner of the property explaining the reasons for my rating.

"A wonderful week in a lovely cottage in a stunning part of the UK."

This property is perfect, everything is high quality and the attention to detail makes this feel like home from home. The views from the property are amazing and it is very well situated in the middle of Northumberland making it easy to visit all of the county.

"Amazing cottage"

Amazing views, cottage was clean, comfortable, modern, and has everything you could possibly need, kids loved the books and cuddly toys and the welcome pack was a lovely thought after a long journey.

"Fantastic holiday cottage in great location"

Hilltop Cottage is all about comfort and relaxation and they deliver on all fronts. We loved the views and the location, the thoughtful touches and the easy communication. The local area is wonderful for walking and is close to so many areas of interest. Northumberland itself is special - wonderful people and beguiling landscapes.

"High Times at Hilltop!"

The view and location are phenomenal. Property is lovely, with maximum use made of space available. The pictures don't do it justice. All rooms are very comfortable. The bathroom is a lovely place to bathe in. The kitchen is well laid out and well stocked. The beds are very comfortable. The attention to detail from the owners was much appreciated. Location is close to many interesting places. Welcome pack was delicious! Full fibre Internet makes a massive difference. Parking right out the front.

Wasps nest out the front prevented us from using the lovely terrace and outside seating.
