Bruce's Cottage

Everyone was super friendly. The cottage was immaculately clean and well equipped. The heating was on for us arriving which was so welcoming. Two of the three bedrooms were ensuite which was great as we only expected one. We had dinner in the hotel .The steak pie was melt in the mouth . Breakfast was a buffet style. It was lovely and had everything you could possibly want. We didn't feel rushed at any time. All in all a very relaxing stay.

The water pressure in the toilets weren't the best. Couldn't fault anything else

The breakfast was okay, not great and was offered by an adjacent hotel not served by a host at the B & B which was grossly misrepresented by the ad online. The buffet line servers were quite curt and clearly not enjoying their jobs or interested in customer service or pleasant interactions with the guests.

First this property is not a chalet or anything close to a chalet. It is a small, converted house/cottage that is attached to an adjacent hotel portraying itself as something it is not. A chalet is a mountainous, high and steeped roof structure whereas this property has none of those characteristics, vistas or other appealing scenery. There are not innkeepers, hosts or anyone to look after the guests rather this is an extension of a hotel and should be defined as such. There is not B & B innkeeper to great you rather you have to walk over to the hotel to be attended to?

The place has beautiful furnishings, spotlessly clean with all the tea and coffee etc. left for us. very helpful definitely recommend
