Comfortable bed nice and quiet

Not enough towels

Nothing! We did have a problem with hot water but Kris got that sorted very quickly and the lady who came was lovely.

The property was in a quite area with some nice views.

7 screws on the driveway, food in the freezer and hotel lacking repair and maintenance

Lodge was decorated lovely and on first impressions we were over welmed and looked foward to settling in we had views of the golf course which was a tick for the hubby sadly weather wasn't as nice as lodge so he didn't get use of the golf course .Hot tub was nice and big and temp just right I can imagine in warmer weather sitting outside to eat as plenty of space and furniture out side .kitchen was well equipped with all you need if your eating in .Mostly clean and well presented in all rooms being dog friendly you have to expect a little wear and tear which the couch was but its leather so its easy to wipe I did have a moan about the dog hairs from previous guests as our dog is none shedding I did try to clear some but hoover in lodge wasn't the best ,I did pass this on to Kris who said he would address this .And I have to say when ever we needed to quiry anything Kris was very helpful and quick to reply which was very much appreciated .Location wise although a lovely site nice and quiet we had had to drive to places and on site bar wasn't doing food and bar only open at certain times due to staffing .I would recommend this company and lodge for anyone who wants to escape and enjoy peaceful surroundings woodland walks and a drive to the coast of Northumberland.

Attention to cleaning for us fussy ones thats me being picky as mostly very well presented
