I sent this message to the operating company during our stay and again when we returned home also copying their main email address. Nona full week has passed and we haven’t received even an acknowledgment. Very disappointing service. Hi there, thanks for your note. I thought I’d let you know that there is a significant rodent problem at the property. There appears to be a family of rodents resident in the roof space adjacent to the window in the main bedroom. So far there has been constant scrabbling, scratching and lots of squeaking. This has led to broken sleep for my wife and I on our first two nights and having to take turns on the sofa in the living room to grab some sleep. The presence of mouse traps etc and the contraption on the toilet seat lead us to believe this is a long term problem. We lived in Edinburgh for a number of years so appreciate the issues there can be with mice and rats but wouldn’t expect that to go unaddressed in a rental property. Otherwise the property is fine but this is spoiling our weekend celebrating our twins 13th birthday.

No lift to thisflat but it is not a real issue because the up-star is large and short.

The property is located in a convenient location to transport and city centre.The apartment was roomy and has a bright aspect front room with nice comfortable sitting and a television.Kitchen was reasonably well equipped with modern electric cooker,oven and microwave.The sower was easy to use and provided a nice shower.

The whole place needs some refurbishing, in particular the carpets and beds. Beds were uncomfortable and creeky. The wash basin in the bathroom needs unblocking.The toilet flush is very weak. In the kitchen instant hot water tap didn’t work for us. There was no kettle and we had to boil water in a pan to make a cup of tea.The microwave was above the eye level for an average person. Need some sort of a stool to reach it,especially to remove something you just heated. The biggest problem for us was the squirrels or some sort of creatures inside the eves running around all through the night inside main bedroom ceiling making it impossible to have an undisturbed sleep.

Too many steps to get to unit,not a good fit for elderly. Management was difficult to reach when we arrived became upset when approached for access information, like we should have known how it all worked.

The apartment was bright and spacious and provided all that we needed. It was a great location for getting out and about taking approx 20 minutes to walk into the city.

It isn’t a didn’t like, more of a recommendation that the mattress in the bedroom near to the bathroom could do with an upgrade as it sags in the middle.

The boiling water tap doesn’t work as per all the comments. Also there is a building site right by the main bedroom so you’re woken every morning by drilling at 7:30. This was April 25. Looks like it’ll be going on for a year or so.
