Lovely apartment, has everything you need - very comfy beds!

The instant hot water tap just did not get hot enough.

Location - Brilliant, it's a 20 minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley station which for us was ideal (A couple in our 30s). It is also within walking distances of various places to see in Edinburgh. There is a tesco only 4 minute walk away from the properly to get some supplies, as well as being near to various restaurants and cafes. The property - It's so beautiful, it's big, it's friendly, it's happy, it's fun, it's everything you want from a home away from home. The kitchen is spacious, there is a dining area that be used by 4 people, as well as a Quooker tap which is easy to use to make a cup of tea or coffee, we didn't use the cooker but there is one if you so wanted to use it. The living room is beautiful and spacious. If you fancy a relaxed chat with a few drinks, there are several occasional tables that you can use, or if you fancy putting your feet up and watching some TV, you can do that as well while enjoying the luxury of your accommodation. The beds - The beds are super comfy. On the day we left, we really didn't want to leave the bed, so I think that a massive positive. Overall - I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Edinburgh.

A minor issue - When we arrived at the property, the lock code that was given to us was incorrect and we had to call Eddie to assist us getting inside. Eddie was very nice, and sorted it out for us very quickly.

clean & tidy

first thing trying to get hold of any management regarding this place is frankly impossible. very noisy from the street area very cold, the owners clearly manage the heat from there phones offsite, freezing. beds are standard doubles and small. Second bedroom very small. 1 bathroom at the far end of the apartment go on a electronics course if you require the use of the cooker or hob.

great interior and style. Lovely kitchen with good appliances, hot water tap and good coffee machine, wine fridge etc.

On a busy crossroad - back bedroom was noisy at night

The property is in a fantastic location, close enough to walk to the city centre. The property was very well equipped , lots of kitchen equipment and very nicely decorated with a stunning stag head mounted on the wall.

Would have been better with a guide on where things were and how they worked, for example we were told there was under floor heating in the bathroom but not told where the switch to turn it on was (we did eventually find it), the hot water tap did not work for us, when we pumped it twice it flashed red but nothing happened, not sure if we were supposed to do something else but that was the only instructions we were given. The left hand window in the living room seemed to be open ever so slightly at the top and there was no way to close it, so the flat was quite cold as there was no instructions on how to turn up the heating. The temperature on the shower couldn’t be changed, it looks like the turn around part possibly had s bit missing???, it didn’t bother us to much as there was also a bath. I had asked twice, once when booking and once 2 days prior our arrival if there was any chance we could arrive a little earlier and vacate at 1pm rather than 11am- the reason being I was travelling back down south and my friend travelling back up north (this was the reason we chose Edinburgh, a central meeting point) nobody answered either of my emails, so when we were due to vacate, we stripped the beds, packed our cases and were ready to leave, but we hung around in the flat chatting until closer to our train times, however the chap to clean the flat/change the beds arrived at 1pm - we were happy to leave at that time as that was the time we had asked for, but this chap came in and was extremely rude in his tone and manner, stating we should have been out 2 hours ago, I calmly told him we had requested a later check out but nobody had responded, he rudely said we shouldn’t have just assumed it was ok, I politely said to him, perhaps he could pass on the message that it would be helpful if the company who manages the property responded to requests. Simply because of the rude manner he spoke to us as soon as he came in, I would not use that management company again.

superb location, well appointed, comfy and spacious. all the mod cons. lovely beds and pillows felt luxurious.

not living in a city I’m used to the quiet but single glazed large windows needed fully functional shutters to help with the road noise. they didn’t quite shut properly for me. it wasn’t constant by any stretch but enough to take getting used too.
