3 bed cottage tremadog

Highly recommend this lovely cosy cottage in the centre of Tremadog. It really is a great spot and we will return. Lovely living room with wood burner and it felt really cosy sitting in there in an evening.

Everything was great

Messed up or stay as they said their car broke down or something, and we didn’t get to see the property,they just messaged you will have to cancel the stay ,called host and they said its booking/com fault ,

Property was uninhabitable and absolutely disgusting. Coated in filth throughout. Property owner refused a refund so lost £481 and had to pay for more accommodation on top of paying for a none existent stay in the above hell hole. Booking.com was zero support also so we will not be using them again. DO NOT BOOK HERE - AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Such a scam going on here

The location was good the amenities were good 2 pubs that you could eat at a covenant store and a fish and chip shop

The property was dark and dingy so of the lights were not working bulbs missing, dirt trays in the oven out of date food left in the cupboard . The bathroom left a lot to be desired black mould in between the tiles and broken tile the cold water tap you had to tune in full on the shake it for the water to come out in fact the whole house needs a good cleaning the towels smelt sour. The banisters were very flimsy and not safe the bolt on the back door was hanging off. Out side the back door was a rusty table and two chairs which made it difficult to get out the patio that was up two flights of stairs was all over ground when you did get up there it could be very nice. They say it’s £100 to clean after each let I think they should sack the cleaner . If the owners spent a little more money on the place it would be a very nice place to stay The beds were comfortable and the tv had sky

We come to Porthmadog a few times a year to visit family and have stayed in many houses/cottages in the area - sadly, this is the worst. On arrival the house stank of damp and was cold. Tried to put the heating on but no joy - found the boiler had an error code on so phoned owner and was advised how to add pressure. Still no joy so had to go to shop to add credit to meter key card. Then heating came on. House hadn’t been swept/hoovered. Cobwebs in hallway. Landing carpet very wet. Fridge doesn’t shut properly and handle came off straight away. Worst of all - pulled duvets back to find dirty bedding. Blood stain on sheet, bugs in a bed, bits of dirt and hair in another. Messaged owner that night. No reply until after 11am next day so we made arrangements to stay elsewhere. We have been refunded just 25% of the booking. The house has potential, but should at least be clean and warm - we have stayed in another cottage just a few doors along which was lovely, so it can be done.
