Veranda Syros House

The property was spotless. Very clean, spacious and multiple areas to relax and enjoy the stunning views including the balcony, garden & hot tub. You can see Mykonos, Paros & Naxos from the balcony on a clear day. The property is in a lovely quiet area of Hermoupolis, a short walk from town with plenty of great restaurants, boutique shops and supermarket. The beaches are easily accessible by both taxi & bus. It was just perfect.

Nothing! We loved everything! It’s worth noting that Syros has lots of steps but we managed just fine with a baby and a 3 year old however something to consider if your mobility is limited.

Our stay was unique. The greek hospitality was awesome. The house is lovely furnished, the garden with the jacuzzi and a stunning view is the highlight for sure. We got plenty of tips what to do on the island and had a really great time.

This is the best place I have ever stayed! Everything was exceptional! The family, the home, the food! Truly THE BEST!!!

WONDERFUL HOSTS, Huge House in the most important location OF SYROS with a wonderful view. Very very clean Large quantities of toilet products towels bathrobes, slippers. FIRST TIME IN A HOUSE RENTING that there was a fridge really full OF EVERYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE, A table layed WITH SWEETS, PIES, CAKES, DIPS THERE WERE ALSO TRADITIONAL PRODUCTS OF SYROS FRUITS, VEGETABLES++++++++++++Τhe owner picked us up and took us to the port.and every day we were treated to new dishes.I have never seen such offers and care

The food provided was astounding in both quantity and quality.We could have eaten all week without leaving the house.House was spotlessly clean with loads of equipment.

Great views from terrace come with lots of steps to get down to town.centre.No issue for youngsters but we are an older couple.There are many low cost taxis in town so we walked down and got a taxi back each day so it was not a problem

The house was extremely spacious and clean and we were greeted with amazing warmth and hospitality by the owners!!!

There are not enough stars available on booking to express how we enjoyed Veranda Syros! Vasiliki, Alexandra and Dimitris are the nicest, friendliest, caring people! We were so impressed about how much work and soul they invest in creating the perfect conditions for the guests to have a memorable stay in Syros. We were presented the whole area and were given a lot of options on what to see and do and where to eat. The accommodation is fitted with everything you need and beyond, the host thought about every single detail you might think of. The apartment is very spacious and clean and besides the lovely balcony with a marvelous view you can also enjoy a cozy, green oasis with a whirlpool (which, by the way, is checked every day by the host)...just for you! Dimitris picked us up from the ferry port upon arrival and dropped us there on our departure day, so the stress of transportation planing was taken care of. The breakfast was just jaw dropping, so much home made food, so delicious, fresh fruit, vegetables, it was a highlight. Plus we were spoiled continuously with fresh baked home goodies, too bad we don't have more spacious stomachs. We have never experienced before such a warm welcome, we knew immediately that our days in Veranda Syros will be great and they were! We definitely recommend Veranda and would love to go back some day. Thank you Vasiliki, Alexandra and Dimitris for everything. You are all lovely people to be around!

I cannot think of a single point that bothered me, not even a small one.

Verand Syros is a spacious, clean and well equipped accommodation. The hosts were extremely helpful, gentle, hospitable and eager to help at anything we needed. Alexandra, who is a wonderful cook, was kind enough to provided us with delicious sweets and tasty food, Dimitris was very kind to collect us from and drive us back to the port and Vasiliki, the sweet and hospitable daughter, was eager to help at any of our needs. This was really a homeric hospitality. There is a veranda with wonderful views of the sea, where we could enjoy splendid evening relaxation. There is also a lovely separate garden with jaccuzi. We enjoyed the most pleasant stay. We highly recommend it.

Great Location overlooking the sea at the top of Ermoupoli .10 minute walk into town through charming backstreets . 5 minutes to town beach ( but steep steps) exceptionally kind and generous hosts who really looked after us ( picking us up and dropping us back to port,good communication via the app and lastly , supplying us with enough food to feed a small nation !) The apartment is very homely . the style might not suit minimalists , but very well equipped and spacious . Great for a family or group of friends . Easy to park at the top of the town a few steps away and 20 minutes to most beaches ( car or bus)

Water pressure in the shower was weak at times but this was a city issue it seems .

The family that own the property are exceptionally friendly. I love this town and swimming in the ocean every day. Walking around and visiting the harbour. We were very well looked after with regard to food and my only regret is that we couldnt try all the delectable Greek treats that they left for us. Thankyou very much for that. The view from the balcony is very special. Book this place you will not regret it. I almost must make a special thanks for receiving us one year after our booking as we were unable to travel due to COVID rules.
