Lodge Barns

This cottage was the perfect spot for our getaway. Located just 20 minutes from our son, it offered the ideal combination of convenience and seclusion. The owners were incredibly friendly and on hand to help with any issues, making us feel right at home. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the utensils you could ask for, and the beds were wonderfully comfortable, guaranteeing a great night's sleep. As dog owners, we were thrilled to find such a dog-friendly place. While the garden isn't enclosed, there's plenty of space to walk your dog on a lead right outside the door, and we found some fantastic dog walks nearby. It was such a peaceful and relaxing time. If you're looking for a quiet, well-equipped cottage in an ideal location, this is it!

The lodges were sparkling clean, full of all the amenities you could need and was very comfortable. The owner is so friendly, helpful and replied straight away to any queries we had. Thank you!

I have nothing bad to say! It was perfect

A beautiful property set in acres of glorious countryside. No traffic anywhere near the house at all. Space for the family to move about without being on top of each other all the time. Enclosed area for the dogs is a bonus. Loads of country walks on the doorstep, including one that takes you straight past a pub on the River Trent. Dishwasher, washing machine etc. all provided in the house.

Only thing that I can think of would maybe be a tumble drier, but that's not to take away from everything that the house did have provided!

Very peaceful, rural location. 20 minutes walk to village with a pub/restaurant and a shop

Excellent facilities, beautiful location, friendly locals and host. Had all we needed for a weekend away.

The only criticism would be softer, yellow/warm lights in the living room instead of stark white. Otherwise brilliant!

Close to my parents in law’s house so perfect location for us. Very clean and quiet and lovely location, beautiful views. Very responsive and nice host.

Slightly odd that there were only two single beds and you couldn’t push them together properly but they were very comfortable.
