Lodge Barns

Spacious beautiful barn conversion, perfect for our family gathering . We had everything we needed, plus more. The hosts were extremely quick to let us know about a local WiFi issue, which was promptly resolved. I also appreciated that they left us to it and we didn't have a long list of house rules to read through. It's set in the gorgeous Nottinghamshire countryside, which was so peaceful and relaxing. There's also a fantastic local pub within a few mins walk, The Full Moon. Friendly and welcoming staff and great live music on a Friday evening. We will definitely return and highly recommend to others. Very dog friendly too.

Everything was great

Truly characterful accommodation which is what we wanted. Perfect rural setting with a village and country walks nearby. Plenty of outdoor space for kids to play in with the many toys and games provided. We occupied the Dovecote and the Hayloft. A boiler problem in the Hayloft was dealt with immediately by John so can't ask for more than that.

We spent two nights here and had a great time. If you like peace and tranquillity this place is perfect. Excellent for dog walks. The accommodation is excellent having everything you need and the communication from the host was first class too. Thanks very much.

Home from home, beautiful lodge in a gorgeous quiet setting. Couldn't ask for more.

All facilities were good very spacious. Good food at the Bromley pub plenty of good walks for dog

It was spotlessly clean throughout and had lots of space for our family of 4. It was a very comfy accommodation with everything you need for a short stay. The kids loved the games room in the courtyard. The area is lovely, with some great local pubs.

I would have preferred a double bed in the main bedroom rather than the twin beds, but I can understand why it's this way. It's not a big issue, really.

Really liked the peaceful location, the facilities and presentation of the property. Lovely village pub, The Moon at Morton.
