Scenic setting

het was een fijn huis, fijne eigenaren. Ze hebben een mooie boerderij en leuke boerderijkatten. Mooie locatie waar je vanuit kan wandelen dichtbij worthing.

The rooms needed repairs. The decoration in the living area was stark, little TV on a big white wall, nothing else. Limited cutlery and china.

Quite and clean

Try to get there while is day light. Its difficult to find and no one is there to welcome you. If you call the provided number they do not pick up or return your call. Also the heating is on during night time for no reason and no way to stop it with thermostat

We liked the location the most. There are stunning views. Emma is a great host. We missed something and she got us that right away. The people on the farm are really friendly.and farmcat Rusty is a treat!

Nothing. I only don't like that I didn't see the barn owl. 😊

Monkey Puzzle Cottage is blessed with a fantastic view from its living room window, across fields of cattle to the rolling hills beyond and the village in the valley below. A good selection of birdlife will be seen by the patient twitcher, and the path through the farm is popular with dog-walkers, hikers, cyclists and horse-riders. The cottage is clean and well presented, and is helpfully stocked with some basic supplies. It is quiet and peaceful without feeling remote. Our host was responsive when we had an issue with the TV one evening.

I have one very minor quibble. There was no contact from our host prior to our arrival (other than numerous emails from Booking.com reminding us that Stag and Hen parties are not allowed!), so I assumed everything would be obvious and straightforward. We cannot be the first people whose satnav took us to the entrance to the north of the farm which, it turns out, will not get you access to the holiday cottages. Then when we did arrive we found there are numerous holiday cottages on site and it was far from clear where to go in order to check-in. A communication establishing these two points would have been helpful.
