Location and hospitality was amazing! House was clean and comfortable as well

Great location to beach and old town and rooftop for drinks made the stair challenge worth it

Rooms were small and didn’t enjoy placing all toilet paper in a bin and then emptying it

Location was perfect . In old town and close to the beach. Hosts were very nice . Answered many questions as well as arranged for early morning transport to the train station. The welcome loaf of bread and oranges was a nice touch .

The stairs to the second floor and the rooftop patio are challenging. Definitely not for seniors . Not being able to flush toilet paper was something new for us .

The location was fantastic! The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, it was nicely decorated, and kitchen was well supplied. The beach was less than a 10 minute walk through the tunnel. The restaurant across the street, three crowns, was delightful and we had a great meal there. The old town shopping area was a 5 minute walk away. The terrace on the third floor was delightful and we enjoyed our wine and appetizers in the late afternoon.

The parking by the property is very limited and we were fortunate to get a spot there. It was very tight to be able to get in and out of. Also the steps up to the second floor where the bedrooms are located are quite steep and the spiral steps up to the terrace are also quite steep.

Location, the terrace and the general feel-good of the home. We had everything we needed and more.

Great location right in the old town. Close to the sea. Beautiful terrace. Communication was excellent.

The staircases were really narrow and a bit unsafe I felt. As much as we knew about them I was still a bit taken aback by how small they were. You really need to be careful.

The hosts were very communicative and I appreciated the thoughtful Welcome Gift of a fresh loaf of bread, oranges, juice, water and a bottle of wine left on the table before my arrival. The property looked exactly like the photos and what other reviews have stated about the steep staircase to the second floor (2 bedrooms and bathroom) were accurate, but I expected this and it was no problem for my partner and I. The spiral stairs to the rooftop terrace are also quite steep, but it is worth the climb for the incredible view! None of this should be a surprise since the photos of the property are very accurate. Home Santa Clara is in an ideal location, central to all restaurants and bars in Old Town but secluded enough that you'll always get a good night's sleep. If you're looking for delicious Italian food nearby, I highly recommend Alfredo! We ate there 3 times in our 7 day stay :)

Everything was fabulous! We couldn't locate a dust pan for the broom (to sweep up sand left behind on our feet from the beach) but I had to dig deep into my memories to find something negative and that is all I have, haha.
