it is a beautiful quaint little house & has everything you need for a self catering holiday. The host is excellent, very attentive without interfering with your stay :). The views from the terrace are stunning & it is located in a stunning area with great views from your front door.

The stairs. The stairs to the 1st floor (2 bedrooms & bathroom) are steep & narrow & even the more slender & fitter in our group were weary of them. The stairs to the terrace are very scary & so we barely used the terrace. I did have lunch up there once during the week long stay but the climb up & down with a plate & mug was hard work. The plumbing. Due to the area the house is in, the plumbing meant you have to place all tissues in a bin. This is not pleasant for anyone & was made worse for the females in the group when dealing with normal female functions. most of us did our best to avoid using the toilet for some bodily functions. This is common in Albufeira & so we understood it but had we received this information prior to final payment we would have changed our booking or would not have booked to share the house with people who do not usually live with us.

It was a fabulous area and the apartment was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were excellent and very friendly.

This property is in a fantastic location in close proximity to many bars, shops and restaurants. The town square is within 10 minutes walk and has plenty of lively bars to enjoy. Some restaurants in the centre of town are lacking in quality but the ones close to the house really were lovely (particularly The Atrium and Tres Cororas). Casa Santa Clara was very clean and comfortable. For a group of 3, we had everything we needed and space to spare. There is a lovely roof terrace with a view of the sea which is virtually on your doorstep! The apartment was very clean and tidy and had lots of equipment/extras for a comfortable stay. Marina is a fantastic host and is happy to help if you need it. she even left some Easter treats in the welcome basket which was a nice surprise. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The main stairs and spiral staircase are very steep! the top of the main staircase in particular is quite treacherous. This did not bother us but if you have mobility issues/children Home Santa Clara may not be appropriate for you. We loved our stay though and didn’t mind the stairs.

A beautiful little cottage that had everything you would need in a fantastic location near to the heart of the Old Town with amazing views of the beach as you step outside the door. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating. Both bedrooms are a decent size and the views from the roof terrace are unreal.

There was nothing not to like about the place but the only drawback was the spiral staircase to the roof terrace being a bit steep, not suitable for elderly but with it being such an old cottage it was to be expected. Once you get up there you won't be disappointed

not a lot of sun on roof top. but it was January. steep staircase but was warned of that.

The location is perfect. The views from the roof are incredible and Marina was just the most helpful and lovely host. All added to this relaxing break
