Dove Lodge Ashbourne Heights

Excellent location. Lodge was spacious and had everything we needed. Beds were really comfy and the site has its own pool. Great parking right outside of our lodge.

Would have liked some outdoor furniture for the veranda to be able to sit outside.

Shower door was broken in the en-suite, no hair dryer, a damp/urine smell in the main bathroom the seats at the dining room table need replaced had to sit on 2 cushions to sort the dip in the middle.

Comfortable and cosy

Ensuite shower tray did not drain fully. Front door difficult to lock from the outside. Not enough kitchen cutlery (sharp knives and teaspoons in particular)

Perfect location for Tissington, Ashbourne and the Tissington Trail. Lovely site, I wish we'd known about it when the children were younger as it would make a fabulous base for a family holiday in the Peak District.

Nothing as the toilet was leaking and towels had to be put around this. Also the the second bathroom shower had an issue with draining and the shower tray become full within a minute meaning you had to get out. All the seating is in such a poor state and feels like you are sitting on the floor & the worst experience was that the children’s room is full of bedbugs and my son received several bits.

Where do I start

Nice accommodation. Two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. So peaceful and relaxing

Windows dirty, outside furniture needs power washing. Shrubbery full of bramble and nettles. Exterior windows full of cobwebs. Too far from Ashbourne to walk into town. Need a car

Location was excellent.
