Remoteness

The location was exceptional albeit remote. The road at the front was quiet and the views uninterrupted. Small cottage but had everything for 3 people.

The bed was a double and just slightly on the small side as a result.

Everything. The views were amazing. It was very comfortable. Bed was very comfortable, the shower was good & the couch was also comfortable. It was warm & cosy with everything you needed.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The property was very well presented, easily meeting the standard shown in the official photos. It would be hard to find a better location, remote enough to feel special but with facilities available for supplies (with a little planning). The views of the landscape and wildlife were really excellent.

It's hard to think of anything.

I have to admit there were a few things that require attention Firstly there is only a mirror in the bathroom there need to be mirrors in the bedrooms As you cannot use a hairdryer in the bathroom this causes a bit of a problem without a mirror I asked to borrow an iron - was told they aren’t supplied This is not an expensive item and when travelling or doing laundry without driers it helps to be able to just refresh creased or crumpled clothes There was no soap in bathroom nor an extra toilet roll to replenish Only 1 towel each guest There was a half used roll of paper towel only in kitchen - no refill Firewood was supplied but was damp and would not really sustain a fire The cottage was so tastefully decorated and charming but I do feel Attention to such small details is important and as I rent out my vacation homes I think I have a really good idea of what guests expect
