The house, the garden, the view were great!

The double bed is unsuitable for people >185cm, it’s simply too short. Also the mattress is too soft + pillows are too hard and should be replaced. Mattress in the smaller bed was much better, but also too short ;-)

Great location, Norman's Ruh was lovely, warm and cosy. Everything required was provided. Very comfortable bed and nice bedding and towels. Excellent little place.

WiFi was fine but TV signal poor so everything had to be watched via satellite.

The situation is perfect. The house is comfortable..good hot water and heating. Our bed was comfortable. The decoration is stylish. Good lighting. The weather was good enough to use the outdoor furniture!! Tobermory is lovely.

The Isle of Mull is a long way from dual carriageway motorways..all the roads though are bitumen, and you quickly learn the single lane road and passing bays.

Location and charactet

The location - remote, with a beautiful view over to Ulva. The beds were comfy, and the general condition of the property was excellent. Easy to find, parking available and a beautiful garden.

Fantastic views of the Loch. Cottage had good facilities. Delightful place to stay, would definitely recommend.

One track roads around Mull a bit difficult in places, particularly on 'scenic routes' but also great for seeing wildlife and amazing views.

This is my fourth visit to Mull so that says it all.

Given the isolation of the property I would have liked quite a lot more equipment in the kitchen as I am a keen cook. The following items are, in my opinion needed; a large whisk,a rolling pin,a casserole dish, a pie dish, wooden spoons of at least 2 more sizes, a deep and a shallow flan case. Maybe a loaf tin. The kitchen lighting was absent as there was no tube in the fitting
