Lovely large, bright airy rooms with everything we needed and brilliant location. 5 mins walk from shops, train station. Plenty of parking on the road. The neighbour was delightful, so friendly and welcoming. Would stay there again.

It didn't really bother us, but you can hear the trains from the house.

"Lovely cottage, perfect location"

10.0

Location perfect for visiting Wirral, Liverpool or Chester. Public transport on the doorstep. Nice restaurants within walking distance. Cottage is much bigger than expected. Spotlessly clean. Gives you a taste of what it would be like to live in this extra special village. Just lovely.

Struggling to find anything.

Lovely little area to stay in so close to train links to Liverpool. The house was very comfortable and quiet and had everything you need.

"A perfect break in a perfect place."

10.0

The cottage was beautifully situated in Port Sunlight Village. It was spacious, pristine clean and very cosy. It had everything you could possibly need and was a two minute walk away to the train station where we had access to Chester and Liverpool. We were also only just over an hour away to Llandudno making it the perfect place to stay.

I can in all honesty say there was nothing that I didn’t like! It was faultless.

"Very good"

8.0

Lovely home in a picturesque location with easy access to regular trains between Liverpool and Chester. The house backs onto a lovely garden centre and there is a good cafe and pub nearby. There is plenty of room inside the property for the four adults and one pooch in our group. The facilities provided were to a good clean standard and the bathroom especially was excellent. The only negative was the mattress in the back bedroom was lumpy and very uncomfortable to sleep on. It may need replacing in my opinion.

Lovely large sunny & light accomodation. It was really handy to have a park literally round the corner as we stayed with our dog. The bathroom & shower were lovely.. and it was so nice to have lovely large towels! Always easy to park right outside. Port Sunlight Village is a delight to stay in.

Only a tiny thing.. the kitchen had limited items.. only a few pans.. no seive or egg cups for example.

"Lovely location. Great for dogs or anyone wishing to get around Merseyside & Chester with ease"

8.0

The location is very good. A train station either end of street, giving full access to Wirral, Chester and Liverpool for a 'local fare'. A supermarket within half a mile, by one of the stations and a parade of shops with newsagents and fast food outlets. The village itself is beautiful and mystical, great for walking with or without the dogs. There is also two pubs within walking distance. One of which is dog friendly. In the accommodation itself the bathroom and kitchen had clearly been modernised and where more than adequate. The bedrooms and lounge are spacious and the sofa's and at least one bed comfortable (we can only comment on the one we used!)

The walls, rungs and stair carpet need a bit of an uplift and the soft furnishings and curtain an update, at the very least for the bedroom curtains to be able to be closed (they are decorative rather than functional). It was difficult to get terrestrial TV, which suspect is to do with the location being listed and there potentially being restrictions on aerials. If you love Catch up and Netflix up you are absolutely well catered for. If you wish to watch your normal night of TV, record at home and plan something else :-)
