Great stay in a listed property, which was sympathetically decorated whilst still being light and airy. Very close to Port Sunlight train station so good connections to Liverpool and Chester.

The towels and bedding were clean, The bathroom was clean

The house smelt stale and had a strong smell of dogs. The house was shabby and poorly maintained. The rugs were dirty and smelly. We had our dogs with us. Did not want to sit in the front room as the smell was so unpleasant. Yard at back unkempt.

I was shocked when arriving in the village. Such a real gem off a property and really felt at home. Location next to train station made it easier to get places especially into city.

Nothing can be helped with the train noise from the front bedroom due to location. I want to be picky so it's more available for us in future but generally a great place.

Great to be able to stay with our dog in what is effectively an historic property and in a fascinating location - fabulous high ceilings, lovely little courtyard garden - all well-maintained and equipped. Thoughtful welcome pack when we arrived including tea/coffee/biscuits.
