Ellers Farm Cottage

Host was very friendly and helpful. It was quiet, very close to the lake district. Loved the free eggs, delicious. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of loo roll, soap, washing up liquid etc all the little extras that make a stay more comfortable. Extra blankets if you got chilly.

No hand rail at bottom few steps of stairs and no grab rail for helping to get in the bath/shower. My inlaws found the bed comfortable, we found the bed too soft.

Nice little cottage that had almost everything we need. I feel it could do with another extra comfortable chair. No comfortable sitting for a fourth person. Mattresses soft and well worn. Apart from the latter everything else okay.

Lovely property with excellent location x family are sited in the area so it was a great location to them too.

Very well equipped home on a working farm. Cosy and inviting in a good location for visiting family

Beds a bit soft but that's a preference

The cottage was spotlessly clean, had everything needed, nicely decorated and cosy warm. Very detailed book of manuals, details of the house, area and activities and places to visit. Very quiet considering it was on a working farm. Our dogs had a secure area to play out and we were able to park right outside the cottage. Can't fault the place. Added bonus were 6 yummy eggs from the farm waiting for us.

Stayed here last year, lovely and cosy, everything you need, complimentary eggs delicious but you definitely need a car, Which isn't a problem if you're touring the lakes.

Location is perfect, the host is welcoming, helpful and friendly. It’s lovely and bright inside the cottage, warm and cosy and everything you need for a chilled weekend.
