Cheviot Pines Northumberland

Location of this caravan was perfect for us, lots of dog friendly walks close by quiet location. Property was cleaner than i expected being pet friendly, everything you needed for a perfect break away.

Cheviot Pines was well presented a lot of thought has gone into this caravan its got a very cozy feeling. It was clean enough i was really worried after reading the few not as good reviews as i am very bad for cleanliness but honestly the not as good reviews it really aint that level its clean enough! I have a child with additional need that is on a different level of picky where he eats and stays… he absolutely loved it here and wants to come back.

We kept kids busy with hot tub and they enjoyed generally being in the caravan but other than the park not much for kids on site however short drives away for fast foods and activities.

Really lovely and clean and a good location

As the settee was a sofa bed it was a little uncomfortable sitting on it watching the tv.

Loved the location very peaceful and quiet and site seemed really clean and tidy. Saw a couple of young deer running past one evening. Lovely comfy double bed and in complete darkness , we both slept really well (very unusual for me), plenty of wardrobe space . Lovely and warm once heating clicked on and fire an added bonus. Nice shower with good water pressure.Had everything you needed for short break and will definitely look to return later in the year.

My only negative was the oven needs a bit of attention. The door seems broken and could have been cleaner but only used it to warm croissants so not really an issue for us.

The hot tub was great and the location

The outside taps and shower didn’t work. The cabin wasn’t that clean. Rubbish under the sofas, and the cutlery and pans weren’t very clean. Also the cabin wasn’t freezing when we arrived, but this was rectified quickly. Also would be worth adding a map to where the cabin is.

How easy it was to check in and directions to get to the accommodation were very clear.All instructions were very clear for oven ,heating, etc. Lovely and cosy accommodation, just what we needed after a busy christmas .would recommend to friends and family .

How cold it was getting out of the hot tub, but that's the weather's fault, ha ha .No complaints at all .
