"Well equipped Lodge in a great location"

Great location, clean, comfortable and everything you need in The Lodge. Cathy was lovely and provided complimentary food & drink. We attended a gig at The Picture Dome which was a short walk away at the bottom of the hill.

Lovely hosts. Nice unexpected touches on arrival (milk, juice, cake, biscuits). Lots of other extras like shampoo and so forth. The property is very convenient for the town.

As the property is at the front of the hosts' house, and their neighbours house, it may not be suitable for anyone wanting complete privacy. This was not a problem for us though to be fair, especially as the hosts were so nice.

"Mini break."

So peaceful, only a 2 minute walk into the town but The Lodge is very tranquil. Everything you need is supplied. You only really need to bring your clothes. Bed very comfy. Great having a fridge to keep your wine chilled. Lovely home baked treats, the cookies and muffins were delicious. George and Cathy are very welcoming. Great value for money too.

So cozy and such a beautiful homely feel. Spotlessly clean with the little touches that make it a very special place to stay for a short (or long break). Ideally situated for the centre of HolmFirth and car parking outside your accommodation is a great benefit!

The Lodge was warm, cosy and very comfortable. It was kitted out with every amenity and comfort you could want and you can see a lot of thought has gone into providing everything a guest might need.
