"The Lodge", Holmfirth

Private, great location and convenience. Exceptional hosts and hospitality. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Great location including parking space. Fantastic communication throughout. Lovely welcoming touches such as milk, orange juice and filter water in the fridge as well as some sweet treats. Property had everything we needed, and more. Lots of little extras such as toiletries and cleaning products.

Nothing. We felt guilty that we couldn't hoover and mop the floor before leaving!

Good location, lovely welcome, cosy with everything we required. Loved the pastries. Orange juice and choice of speciality teas. The bed was so comfy, so quite, had a great night's sleep. Woukd definitely stay here again.

Super cute bolt hole cottage with everything you need for a short break in the beautiful Holmfirth. Impeccably turned out and decorated with such kind and thoughtful touches such as home-made bakes & coffee machine. The bed and the bed linen were extremely high-quality and very comfortable. There’s no kitchen but there is an array of fantastic eateries deli and cafés on your doorstep. Be sure to pay a visit tothe vibey Coopers yard. Cathy popped by to say hello to check everything was okay which was a really nice touch.

Everything was perfect

The location was very central to the town, albeit on a very steep hill, but we were aware of this prior to booking and it wasn't a problem for us. The accommodation had everything and more that you might require for a short break.

Absolutely spotless. Everything in the lodge is such good quality. All your needs are catered for and they provided extras such as cakes, milk, orange juice, tea coffee and milk. Beautiful bedding and extremely comfortable pillows and bed.

A warm welcome on arrival. There were lots of lovely, thoughtful touches which made it feel like a home from home. The bed was so comfortable and good quality bedding. The shower was warm and powerful. The small space was utilised really well meaning you had everything you needed without feeling cluttered. The location was central but was still private and peaceful. Lots of good options for food within walking distance. If we come back to this area this property will be our first port of call for availability.

There was literally nothing to dislike. We have nothing bad to say.
