Luxury Architect Designed Apt 13 Mins to Royal mile

Location was convenient and close to Royal Mile. Grocery store and restaurants in walking distance. Quiet residential neighborhood with street (paid) parking.

Really nice and convenient place, close to Holyrood park. The stay was perfect and Jack, the owner, was very helpful.

The apartment itself is stunning when you walk in. The entry way is large and airy and you walk in on a mezzanine floor that looks down over the apartment itself. Very impressive! The location was fairly good - its quite a walk from the Royal Mile - but sits opposite King Arthurs Seat - right opposite the park. If you dont mind walking its a good location. We easily got taxis ordered etc though - so no big deal.

I think the "luxury" term on the title of the property is a little far fetched. Whilst the property design is impressive, there was little else that was "luxury". "Bath" Towels were old and had marks all over them, they had obviously been used a lot and washed many times - slightly grey and not very big. Bedding was ok - duvets were old and marked. Pillows flat and again no doubt well used and never changed. There were toiletries provided - shower gel etc - but again - no luxury - just Tesco cheap stuff. The en suite on the top floor bedroom had a shower curtain, no extractor fan - the window was locked shut - so no airflow whatsoever. The shower tray didnt drain away. The downstairs bathroom was even worse - no windows, no extractor fan, mould on the tiles that had been painted over. Overall the apartment was not very clean - Apparently the cleaners had just left when we arrived - but nothing smelt clean. I didnt like the fact that we were told to not strip the beds before we left - the owner said the cleaners wouldnt know what quilts came from which bed. That didnt make any sense as both beds were king sized so what did it matter? I stripped ours anyway....

Couldn't have found a better location, perfect for traveling and seeing the town. Also have to mention the cleanliness of the place and how modern it all is. Would definitely return to this amazing property!

The apartment was absolutely clean everything was easy to access. The place its self was stunning.

Spacious, clean, well looked after. The host was brilliant at communicating and answering any questions prior to the stay and on call if we needed anything throughout. Short walk to the city and right round the corner from Arthur’s seat.

The place was pristine, great location only a short walk into the centre. Great layout and spacious.
