Great view, short walk to steam train and lower ferry. Buy a saver pass for ferry will be a saving on travelling back and forth. Book The Ship Inn for food as they get busy.

"A few days family of 3"

Excellent location! Views over the River Dart, 2 minute walk to the Lower Ferry and Steam Train. Parking also just a few minutes walk away. Very cosy, cottage. 2 good bedrooms and nice bathroom. Quaint kitchen and living area, ideal for a small family or couple to relax in the evening.

Low headroom on the stairs but that is expected from an old cottage like this. Whole property is electric for heating and cooking although there is a wood burner for a cosy winters night!

"Enjoyable stay"

View Convenient location Quiet at night

Small things that could improve the stay 1. Loose face plate for front door key- fell off when we arrived! 2. Mirror in main bedroom 3. Rails for towels ( to dry) 4. Positioning of single bed to allow the door to close- we had to move it to give our guest some privacy
