We liked the quiet location and the spaciousness of the bedrooms and living areas. We had a welcome bottle of wine and fruit on the table. Continental breakfast was provided.

The overall impression both outside and inside was of tiredness, lack of proper cleaning and neglect. The high tariff is not justified. The property needs a deep clean and general refurb. The windows were very dirty, the outside areas were overgrown, The dining chairs had torn coverings and there was a musty smell throughout. There was dust and mould everywhere including a thick layer of black mould above the shower.

"Home away from home on a vineyard!"

Beautifully presented and well-appointed cottage, we felt right at home! Large bedrooms, comfy beds, wood burner and heat pump. Firewood was delivered on our arrival by Paul, so we had the wood burner going that evening! Quiet location, nice rear deck surrounded by vines, magical... Continental breakfast was ready in the fridge for the 2 days, Angela even provided gluten-free bagels for one of us. And wine tasting is a must!

The cottage is about 4kms from the town centre. But we knew this.

The included breakfast supplies and bottle of wine were great. The cottage was warm when I arrived and the fire was ready to be lit.
