Pellcroft Cottage

Very clean excellent location

We loved everything about this lovely cosy cottage. We have visited several times before with our dog and are already discussing our next visit, as Sara has created a perfect home from home, with her own little touches that make our stays feel even more special.

Beautiful cottage with lots of homely touches. Gorgeous surroundings and like a little home from home. Our host was extremely friendly, kind and looked after us (even leaving little treats in the fridge - such sweet touches). A really wonderful stay!

Lovely location, a very pleasant stay and some very nice touches, there's everything you could need,a well equipped cottage. A pleasant walk into Holmfirth and back.

Perfect space for a getaway for the two of us. Cosy cottage with thoughtful gifts left for us.

Everything was perfect.

The location of the cottage was excellent with great views from the upstairs window. The kitchen was very well equipped although we would have liked an oven-glove for use with the oven and a couple of small glasses for juices. It was a lovely surprise to have fresh eggs, tea, coffee, milk, wine and beer, bread rolls, juices, chocolate bars, butter and jam provided, very thoughtful and generous of the host. Wi-Fi was brilliant and we loved the peace and quiet in the evenings. The bed was very comfortable and there was lots of hot water for showers. Plenty of information in the cottage regarding the surrounding area, places to visit and things to do - we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Apart from the couple of items mentioned above there is nothing that we did not like.

Clean ,beautiful cottage in peaceful scenic location near to Holmfirth and round the corner from a local Co op and friendly local pub. Really comfy bed ,very good shower with quality towels provided. Fully modernised ,with double glazing ,very efficient boiler and good TV facilities (Netflix/Prime).There was also a nice touch ,with drinks and fresh milk ,bread and local free range eggs in the fridge. Sara ,the friendly host ,lives nearby and was ready to greet us on arrival. The main settlement of Holmfirth is just down the hill and there is a car parking space just for you at the property. The property has everything needed for a comfy ,relaxing stay for a couple visiting Holmfirth and/or the Yorkshire countryside .

There is a tight spiral staircase linking the living room and bedroom ,that some people might find awkward.
