The Secret Wood Northumberland

Felt cosy with the inside decor. Lots of cushions and spare blankets and space on the sofas for 4 adults to sit and relax . Extremely clean. Easy to find, good directions and easy to access. Lovely and quiet and seeing the deer come past the window was a bonus. The double bed was extremely comfy. Excellent location to visit landmarks and walk the many coastal routes.

The single bed mattresses were a bit uncomfortable and short for the taller adult but manageable for a couple of nights . The shower cubicle would not close properly, making it quite tight to shower and the bathroom door would not close fully. Could not get the grill to work. There were no lamps in double room and the one in the twin room did not work.

Only a two night stay with business appointments involved so we needed a comfortable affordable place to stay in March. The caravan was good for this. Everything we needed, comfortable for relaxing and cozy in the evening. Didn't sit outside but it has a nice area for star gazing.

The shower is relatively small and the door didn't shut efficiently making it smaller. No egg cups!

It's a lovely peaceful place, the private garden is great and makes all the difference, look forward to going back, place and clean and has everything you need and more

Shower door would not close properly

Good location, really handy for Alnwick. It’s quiet with of local walks and the pub was not too far a walk.

I think it’s been mentioned before but the WIFI was really intermittent making it hard to watch Netflix etc. The shower door made it difficult to shower as it kept opening.
