Jane's Place Free Parking

Jane's place had everything we needed, plenty of space for the family and an easy 10 minute walk along the river into the city centre

Accommodation good, couldn't work out the television properly and the dining stools had food stains on them. Other than that would book again.

Location was great, close to town and across the water from Eden Court Theatre

Furnishings were tired, sofa worn, kitchen lovely but complimentary tea and coffee etc would have gone a long way. Upstairs floorboards were so creaky, as was the double bed. Bathroom shelves were not very nice and we only got 1 toilet roll between 4 of us. Good job we were only there for 1 night. Single beds were comfy enough but the pillows and bedding could be doing with an upgrade. The pillows were very flat and not very fresh. The decor in the bedrooms made me feel like I was staying in my granny’s spare room, could be so much nicer.

The location is perfect, on a quiet street away from traffic and still close to the city center. The kitchen is modern and there is a small private outdoor area to grab some fresh air and relax with a coffee.

The beds were uncomfortable and the bedding is very old, considering how cheap new bedding is these days we were a bit disappointed with this. Despite this, we would still return again as it is excellent value - cheaper than most local hotels.

Ereything is upto the mark

The property is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the city center, making it easy to explore on foot. The best feature is the dedicated parking spot that comes with the apartment, which was absolutely amazing. The apartment itself is cozy and fully equipped with everything you might need. Around the corner, there’s a convenient shop that stays open late, which was very handy for us. Overall, a fantastic stay!

We didn’t have much to dislike, but there are a couple of small improvements that could make a big difference. After booking, I messaged the host requesting extra pillows and for the spare bedroom beds to be rearranged, but unfortunately, no one responded. Additionally, when renting for 4 nights for 4 people, we found only one roll of toilet paper and a nearly empty bottle of dishwashing liquid. It wasn’t a big issue as we bought more, but these small details matter. I’m only mentioning this for improvement because the place itself was absolutely fantastic!
