Rural getaway with a view - Old Spout Barn

The location is brilliant, the scenery is stunning, it was so tranquil and relaxing. A lovely three say break, the weather is pretty goid too.

There wasn't anything to dislike

We always enjoy staying here and will return in the future.

The location is perfect for a quiet get away, yet easy reach of a town with plenty of shops and eating options.Fantastic setting with amazing views over rolling hills. Very clean and comfortable with all the facilities you need. A good size kitchen, bathroom, and plenty of hot running water. And with warm stone flooring, it was ideal for my 2 little dogs. Great for people holidaying with dogs. They love the window overlooking the sheep. I’ve already booked to go back.

I really can’t think of anything I didn’t like. I guess I’m 6’2” and anyone taller might need to duck.

Location was lovely. Peace and quiet as we had hoped. Sue was very accommodating & left a very welcome beer & a few other essentials.

Sadly wood burner just didn't work! It looked quite new so whoever installed it needs to check it out. Not essential in early October but possibly would be later in the winter. I am sure that Sue will investigate on reading this.

Very cosy and comfortable, great kitchen facilities, very good shower and all in a fantastic location with great views. Just wish we booked for longer!

The holiday home is wonderful in the most perfect location with spectacular views. It’s so peaceful and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place for our holiday in the Yorkshire dales. We loved how close it was to the local town but felt like we were so remote. Just what we wanted. Lovely decorated, spotlessly clean with everything we needed for a self catering holiday.

The mattress in the main bedroom (king size bed) was very uncomfortable, we could feel the springs and it angled down at the sides. Unfortunately we didn’t get much sleep at all.

Great location with a stunning view. It had everything we needed. The barn was clean and tidy and beds were very comfortable.

The views are very nice. The location is great as a fall-out base for any activities in the area and farther away. Great access to both the Dales and the Lake District.

Not any remarks here!
