Spectacular Period Property Located In Leicester

Communication from host was exceptional. Property was very spacious and very well equipped to accommodate 5 x men working in the local area. Will definitely be booking again if we need a bigger property to accommodate our guys. Thanks again. 👍🏽

Fab location - plenty of space. Great cooking facilities for everyone to use. Comfy beds. All round a great place, will be coming again if I want a group getaway!

Showers didn't work very well. But all else was great!

Good size property for the amount if people, plenty of room for everyone to be together. Good outside space. Very comfortable beds.

It needs some work spent on it. Fixing things (outside chairs, beds), repairing and fitting curtains, decorating. Providing a downstairs toilet (not just in accessible room) would be beneficial. Garden needs work to make it beautiful (like the pictures show).

Rikesh (owner and/or main contact) was exceptional and could not do more to assist us. Truly exemplary guest services re. Comms before arrival and during our stay when we wanted to check something and ask for recommendations for somewhere to visit nearby with several children. The front garden is beautiful and a lovely and very secluded place to sit whilst children play on the grass. Great to have a BBQ option and the second kitchen was very helpful to cook away from the main thoroughfare. Having two dining tables was great and the abundance of bedrooms meant that we were able to accommodate a total of 7 adults and 8 children (including one baby) very easily. The vicinity to a small express supermarket as well as a short drive to a large supermarket was great. Watermeade Park was a 10-minute drive and a great place to wander with children! Also, there were 6 cars parked in the driveway whilst we were there, which was helpful.

The property is a little tired and would certainly benefit from being renovated throughout (although the kitchens seem to have been recently fitted). In its day, this property would have been incredible. However, the glory days do seem to be something of the past as this is a beautiful property with good bones, but currently rocking quite dated interior, far from the original character that one would hope for. We generally felt that a thorough clean in all nooks and crannies was needed but it was absolutely fine, especially given the noticeably higher cost of properties with the same number of bedrooms. Nevertheless, for the price that we paid for 3 nights, split between 7 adults, we were happy with the experience and certainly don’t feel that our stay was compromised at all.

Some bushes outside needed a trim and flags stones needed weeding.

Plenty of space around the house, was all clean.
