Terracotta beach house

The place is amazing, perfect for relaxing. The house has everything you need. There is also a taverna nearby. The water is clean and shallow, there are even 2 Kajaks that you can use. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

La casa era stupenda, si trova praticamente sulla spiaggia. Una casa così comoda per andare al mare non l'abbiamo mai trovata, soprattutto con i bambini piccoli è stata una svolta. Era un sogno, potersi svegliare con il mare a due passi. Inoltre, La casa è dotata di tutto e Tony e la sua famiglia sono disponibili per qualsiasi cosa, ci siamo sentiti subito accolti. Una vacanza da sogno, siamo stati contentissimi di questa vacanza!

Niente è stato tutto perfetto!

A beach house in a perfect spot and a fantastic bay. Very nice and chilled hosts - always available but very respectful of privacy.

The house is beautifully located on a small beach with a taverna. What makes it so special is that you can be close to nature. The swifts building a nest, the fireflies dancing at night, the gentle sound of the sea. Everything we needed in the house was provided, everywhere was immaculately clean and fresh. Driving through the lanes were an amazing range of wild flowers and gardens, with olive trees all around. A perfect retreat from modern life.

The property has everything you need including a stunning view and direct access to the beach. We visited in the low season in October so the beach felt like our own private beach! Water is the warmest of the year around that time and we had great weather. Shallow water makes it great for young kids who were completely independent with just a distant supervision eye from us. You can get shallower cooler water with lots of fish if you go to the end of the pier. The beach is clean and water feels safe as there is no current and no tide. Great for families with young kids. The house was well insulated. Despite the weather turning cold at night we did not have to switch on the heating. There is AC in each room ( we did not have to use it) good shower . Kayaks are a great addition kids had a blast with them and so did we . Kitchen had everything we needed bar a few things I’ll mention below and which I asked our host Tony to consider adding. Wifi was strong. Washing machine very handy with young kids. Broom etc to keep things nice and clean ( I like my floors spotless at all time!) Restaurant next to the house for those who don’t like cooking serves great chips and swordfish and quid . We did not experience any loud music from the restaurant Tony is a heat host. Gave me a call before I left the UK to check for any requirements . Check-in was very welcoming and checkout seamless and friendly . Welcome bottle with local sweets on arrival (although we don’t drink) and gift of sea shells at the time of leaving, typical of great Greek hospitality. Tony made himself available via WhatsApp should we need anything brought the stay ( we didn’t) Thank you for a great experience . We stayed 4 days excluding travel days and it felt like 10!

Everything was perfect. Kitchen could do with the following extra item but we did ok with our them so not essentials really. Salad bowl, fruits bowl, soup/ cereals bowls, bread basket and scissors
