Fabulous cozy annex cottage with great attention to detail in furnishings & facilities provided. Friendly hosts Mark & Mary, who were on hand to show around initially & then next door if needed. Loved Mary’s homemade shortbread treat which we had with a cup of tea on arrival. The property has beautiful views over the North Minch from the living room & upstairs bedroom, with binoculars available to catch a glimpse of anything in the waters. Both bedrooms have their own shower & toilet facilities which was great as we were a family of 3. Each bedroom has its own tv for lounging & early morning tv. The kitchen area is well stocked with cooker, micro wave, coffee machine etc & has table & chairs so dining in is possible. We used this especially at breakfast time & one lunchtime when we reheated some beautiful pies from the Lochinver Larder which I can definitely recommend. The lounge/livingroom area is a large space with two big comfy sofas, a wooden coffee table & Sky TV. Board games also available should you wish them. Lochinver is a serene, quiet village in the highlands, with friendly inhabitants & beautiful scenery. Eating out I would suggest the new amazing Delilah’s on the Main St in Lochinver a short walk from the property. Really excellent place & I will be sure to return again if I find myself in this area in the future.

The hosts were friendly and helpful. They showed us around the property and answered questions on the area. They gave us good advice on where to eat and checked that we were settled in and whether we needed anything.

The apartment and location were great, there was nothing to dislike.

The weirdest thing is that it's not on Hillside! We were lucky to find an open store with people who knew that it was just a block down on the main street. Once you find it, it's very convenient though. :)
