The Bothy

Great location to walk to the village in minutes. Spacious and very well furnished. The owners clearly take great pride in their property and even provide milk, butter, marmalade and wine, which we needed after braving the Friday evening traffic. We loved having a choice of duvet thicknesses, really important for us. Very good directions to find the accommodation.

Only point is that we found the lighting not bright enough in the sitting room to read, we are in our 60s!

The cottage was extremely clean, cosy and comfortable. The owners have thought about everything you would need. The location couldn't be better for a stay in the New Forest.

Location was perfect for high street and surrounding area.

Perfect location,quiet,but a few minutes stroll to shops and cafes.

Couldn’t fault it

Fantastic location just off the high street. A welcome note, flowers in the room and essential provisions along with a bottle of wine provided.

If you have mobility issues the bath side was quite high to get into the shower. Ok for us but may cause issues for others. There was a handrail and bath mat.

More spacious than expected. Location, in relation to village and New Forest was perfect. Also, bus stop to Lymington or Southampton was only 50 metres away, but there was no noise from the road
