The Bothy

The Bothy was located just off the high street in Lyndhurst in a secluded residential estate with large garden area for all to enjoy. It was ideally located for exploring all parts of the New Forest.

The bothy is a lovely little cottage, right in the heart of the new forest,on the edge of Lyndhurst and on the edge of the open countryside with all that it offers.It is very near to the town centre but off the beaten track to be very quiet.The cottage itself has everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

I couldn't find fault so nothing to complain about.As it's asking for more I will say weather could have been a tad warmer but that is nobody's fault.

Excellent location in the heart of the new forest, hosts were welcoming and very helpful and the property was perfect. The welcome package was so thoughtful and the kitchen was wonderful for self catering, and absolutely spotless!

So peaceful and quiet, loved the well equipped kitchen and the bed so comfy. I loved everything. Spacious, clean, good WiFi.. The welcome goodies were a pleasant extra, thank you very much.

The location was perfect nice and peaceful. And close to the high street. perfect for exploring the area. would thoroughly recommend.

It was well presented, plenty of room, clean and comfortable. It had everything in it that I needed and good quality too. The welcome pack was really good along with delicious homemade marmalade.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the Bothy.

Lovely property, loads of space and generous complimentary bits and pieces. The location was superb, wildlife galore within a stones throw as well as being on the High Street. Would highly recommend !

Fantastic location, very close to the many shops, cafes and restaurants on Lyndhurst High Street but also a very quiet location. Comfortable accommodation with very clear communication from owner. Great welcome pack too, especially the homemade marmalade which was delicious!
