Keys were easily located in lock box and code was received prior to arrival al

The pillows on the bed were a little lumpy/hard. Unusually for June it was quite chilly in the evenings and we found it a little cold downstairs in the kitchen and lounge area. When parking best to access from the top of the lane by the castle. A little history on the cottage would have been lovely.

Really spacious accommodation, clean quiet and perfectly positioned for amenities. Parking was a challenge but not a problem. We would definitely consider a return visit.

Wasn't anything not to like

Lovely property, great location. Easy access to local amenities. Comfortable, had everything we needed for our stay. Bed was very comfortable.

It was a little cold in the living room, getting the fire going wasn’t too easy for someone who had never done it before. Not a real issue at all but would have preferred to switch on a radiator.

There was no personal welcome.We are from abroad and quite like this! There was no updated information about the area. The folder with instructions on how all the equpment worked was too extensive

What an absolute gem of a find this cottage is - right next to Middleham Castle and in such a beautiful area. The cottage was like selling back into a period drama (with a modern bathroom - no tub in front of the fire!) the fire was fab hearing up everywhere - so cosy and everything in the kitchen you need. Really well thought out - we are already planning our next visit!

So close to local pubs and restaurants and perfect location for castle and local walks.

Sofas were a little uncomfortable for sitting on but for the time we were there not a deal breaker.

It was very quirky, felt like I stepped back in time! nice to have a fire in the livingroom. Location was fab!

The bed in the larger room did not feel secure, luckily just two of us so we slept in the smaller room.
