Good rooms. Great views. Overall a good place to stay if you want space and quiet.

The smaller things let a great place down. No tea or coffee sachets. No milk. No shampoo. Small but with the nearest shop.over 20 kms away, frustrating.

Beautiful log cabin, providing a peaceful (apart from the road grader one morning) sanctuary away from the stress and worries about the world. It was very cosy with the woodburner. There was plenty of wood, which the teenage boys enjoyed chopping, as well as building fires in the woodburner. There was a hot shower and comfortable bedrooms with 2 toilets. Loved the bird life and native bush right outside the door and upstairs balcony. Exciting to see a South island robin up close, right on the table outside the log cabin.

Not being able to go for a walk without buying a pass, apart from on the road that the cars drive up the mountain on, and wee 5 minute walk in the garden.

Stunning location which exceedour expectations, great host who was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

Could do with a saucepan with a lid. I know that’s not super important but would be helpful

The quiet spacious property for 2 for 2 nights. The views The eco features, facilities. Sauna experience was exceptional, the tennis and fabulous walks, wilderness, native forest birds, and friendly staff. Not many insects and wasps under control. Sunshine was the bonus.

One bed was uncomfortable. No face cloths. We could have been told prior to just bring worm friendly products for waste water or even have these supplied. There was washing up liquid and hand soap supplied.
