It was great! Exactly what we needed for this trip

Nothing. It’s only 4.4 miles into the city. The location is perfect. Because the house is in Daly City, we were able to use Waymo to get back and forth from the city (cheaper than and Uber or Taxi, didn’t have to use our fuel and safer IMO) We literally parked our SUV in the driveway for our stay and left it there.

The house/apartment itself was well-maintained, with a nice, modern finish. It was clean and felt comfortable. The location, while a bit outside of San Francisco, is very quiet and peaceful, making it ideal for anyone looking to escape the city noise. It also felt like a safe area. The host thoughtfully left a welcome gift basket with snacks and a bottle of wine. We don’t drink, but it was still a nice gesture and well-appreciated. The Wi-Fi worked well for most of the stay, though it did start cutting out during the last couple of days.

The apartment is located in Daly City, which is quite a distance from downtown San Francisco. So if you’re planning to spend a lot of time in the city, be prepared for a commute. With only two bathrooms for three bedrooms, two guests had to share. This wasn’t a huge inconvenience but might be worth considering depending on your group's size and preferences. If you're tall, the showers are an issue. I'm a tall guy, and the showerheads were set quite low, which made it uncomfortable as I often hit my head and had to crouch to get under the water. The property is equipped with multiple Ring cameras. While security is important, the level of surveillance felt a bit excessive, especially as the hosts seemed to actively monitor every alert. It felt intrusive and impacted the overall sense of privacy during the stay.

The decor was amazing. One of the best quality designs I have stayed at. Spacious, great beds. Nice kitchen.

Hot water in showers still an issue as per other complaints, but minor. Not comfortable using the deck with security cameras observing the area.

Great location, being only 15 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes' drive from Pier 39, Pier 33 (for Alcatraz) and all major downtown attractions. Parking space and fabulous house with an incredible view of San Francisco. We were a family of four, so loved having 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The house was comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed for a fabulous stay. The dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer added to the convenience and the balcony was wonderful for seeing the 4th July fireworks in the neighbourhood. Safe area and only half a mile to a lovely trial to walk/run around. Would definitely book again if we return to San Francisco!
