Gardiner Cottage

The property location could not be better, it was ideal. There are a few comments about parking, we did not find an issue, just walk around the corner and there is free parking.

I would say if the property was updated in decor and say better mattress I certainly would rate this property 100% perfect

We did self catering, the only thing that was acceptable was the shower

As soon as you entered property the smell was overwhelming. Property had a stale, musty unidentifiable odour. Quite revolting. Bed downstairs was only fit for a 2 yr old child, The lounge suite was very poor quality and you literally fell into it when you sat down. The dining room chairs were similar to camp chairs and were far too low for the dining table which was screwed into lounge wall and couldn’t be moved. The backyard was nothing like picture displayed and was not used. Kitchen facilities were adequate but used once only. We had local visitors who also commented on the poor quality of premises, we could only bear to stay x2 nights despite paying for four and moved to a local hotel.

Excellent location steps away from the Main St and close to shops restaurants etc .. A spotless and well equipped home ideal for a family break. The enclosed back garden is a sun trap and has garden furniture. The host was very welcoming and the the information he left was helpful.

Difficult to find any negatives.

Convenient for Royal Troon Golf Course where we were competing. Easy access to town centre which had at least one excellent restaurant.

Hard to read controls of microwave

Nice accommodations. Had everything needed and was very clean. Perfect location. I would book again.

My son and his family found Gardiner Cottage an ideal home from home in Prestwick Town Centre. Our host was extremely welcoming and thoughtful. Hopefully we will have the weather to sit out in the garden next time!!

Everything, great wee house, would stay again.
