COZY Studio in Downtown San Diego

The location was close to where I needed to be. The coded locks were good. Air conditioning was cold.

The concrete steps leading up to the property were badly cracked, uneven and dangerous for my wife to navigate. The room itself was badly outdated and poorly furnished. One of the wooden window blinds was stuck halfway raised, so there was no way to get the room dark for sleeping. The bed frame was broken at the foot of the bed. The little table provided had a pullout that was broken and could not support anything. There was no soap or shampoo in the dispensers in the shower, so I called the host to tell him. Host said he would have his cleaning crew refill them, but they were never refilled during my stay. Dishes supplied were dirty. On the day before we were to checkout, a cleaning cart was left outside the door to my room, and the laundry room door next to us was left wide open at 11am, and they stayed that way until we checked out the next day - a full 24 hours later, making it very hard to navigate around the cart every time we entered and exited our room.

I traveled to SD for work, and it was a nice place for a short stay. The location is in a nice neighborhood close to restaurants, coffee shops, various piers, and famous museums. If you rely on public transportation, there is a bus stop just 2 minutes from the apartment. The place was clean and quiet.

Very cute, exactly as represented in the picture. 40 minute walk to Convention Center, 20 to.beach.

Right in the flight path. A little hassle getting the info for the looks but Booking.com talked me through after 15 minutes on hold.

The location is terrific. There is a table on the deck that proved to be very enjoyable in our wind down from the day’s activities. In addition the property is in the flight path for landings at the airport. This may seem a problem, but turned into an enjoyable experience. It was not a problem for us to sleep. The view of town was really nice.

The doors in the unit didn’t close well, but not any problem for us. The double bed which was against the wall was difficult to get in and out of during the night. There was a problem with a malfunctioning exterior lock, but the landlord did his best to solve the issue and was gracious enough to give us a refund of most of the cost for that night for the inconvenience we’d experienced.

Clean, quiet, cozy, comfortable! It was perfect!

Location and clean

Not the room advertised. Said 2 beds and a sofa. It was 2 bed and no sofa. Last night neighboring room was having a party until 5am.

Clean, comfortable, hospitable apartment. I felt safe and secure, was able to relax. Tea kettle and microwave meant I could have tea and a snack without having to go out. Bed was very comfortable with extra blankets if you needed them. Just a short walk to my conference. Value for money was excellent.

It took a while for the hot water to come on in the shower--no one's fault, it is just that the hot water heater is not that close to this apartment. The suite is under the fight path of incoming airplanes landing at San Diego airport. After a few planes come over and you realize what is happening, you very soon begin to not even notice them.

I loved the location of the property. Few blocks away from Little Italy. I can also see the ocean from my bedroom window.
