COZY Studio in Downtown San Diego

Very quiet and clean.

I didnt realize it was a room in a hallway along side other rooms. I didn't mind so much but there was nothing describing this layout when booking. Im a solo traveler so I didn't mind whatsoever but I can see someone with a family or kids having an adjustment period.

Located in downtown San Diego within walking distance of many sites. Check-in is straightforward with code-locked doors.

Should be upfront on the airplane noise due to near-perfect alignment with the airport runway. The bed linens were quite old and spent (although clean). The room becomes very humid and hot without AC but fortunately the AC is working well and fast.

The cleaning staff were pleasant.

I’m not sure why this property is called a “studio apartment”…..it’s a tiny (hence the word COZY) single room smaller than an average size budget hotel room. It is located DIRECTLY UNDER A FLIGHT PATH which is NOT listed on the promotion page! If you’re a light sleeper, you won’t want to stay here! Also, the toilet did not work. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone….sorry!

Airplanes flying right about every 5 minutes. Bed was tiny. Toilet wasn’t flushing.
